Every time I turned it in the light, I saw something new.

That was the magic. It didn’t give me answers, it invited me to ask better questions. Over the years, I’ve worked with different kinds of opal, like Mexican fire opal when I needed passion, white opal during grief, and black opal during a deep spiritual awakening. Each time, the stone didn’t overpower. It partnered.

I really like opal.

What is Opal?

Opal is a hydrated amorphous form of silica, a gemstone born from water and light. What makes it unique is its play-of-color, a dazzling optical effect where flashes of iridescent fire shimmer across its surface in rainbow hues. No two opals are alike - some glow with cosmic greens and violets, others flash fiery reds and golds. It’s the stone of dreamers, artists, and mystics. Often referred to as the “Eye of the Gods” by ancient cultures, Opal holds deep connections to intuition, imagination, and emotional release.
